Apartment - Single Room

City-living apartments are a perfect fit for the student who wants to experience Barcelona like a local. CEA's apartments span neighborhoods like Les Corts, Eixample, Sagrada Familia, Gracia and Poble Nou. Stroll past some of this city's most beautiful treasures daily, as you walk to and from your Spanish abode. Most apartments combine single and double rooms. If you prefer to be placed in a single room within a shared apartment this is a good option for you. Students would share common living areas such as a kitchen and bathroom with other CEA students residing in the apartment.

Please note that there is a limited amount of single room availability. If you request a roommate, priority will be given to that request first over the specific housing type request. Please use the comments section of the Housing Preference Form, if there are additional considerations.

Independent Housing

0
While CEA highly recommends that you choose one of our Barcelona housing options provided, you also have the option to arrange independent housing. If your ideal housing scenario includes living in a specific neighborhood with a specific program participant as your roommate, then independent housing could be the ticket for you.

Use the online housing application form to request permission for this option no later than the application closure date. You'll receive a rebate for your CEA housing payment if and when your request is approved. Rebates are not granted to students who move out of their CEA housing or who pursue independent living arrangements after the application closure date. Keep in mind, CEA will not provide you with any assistance setting up independent housing
