Students will enroll in courses that total up to 30 DCU credits/18 US credits. You’ll enroll in approximately 4-6 courses. Contact hours and meeting times vary; courses may be structured as seminars, lectures, or tutorials. You may earn a total of 18 credits (up to 270 in-classroom contact hours) per semester.
You'll "pre-register" by submitting course selections and alternates to CEA before you leave for Dublin. Formal registration takes place at a registration session during the first week of the program. When making selections, indicate only the disciplines in which you wish to take courses, although you should indicate any courses you are required to take while studying abroad and any major requirements you wish to fulfill.
It is in your best interest to have multiple alternative courses approved by your home university prior to your departure due to course availabilities. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university on credit pre-approval guidelines.
I made friends I will have for the rest of my life. I learned a lot about not only France, but who I am and what I am capable of. Everybody should have the chance to study abroad because there are so many benefits.
