Home to more than half of the UK’s top 100 listed companies, and considered one of the world's pre-eminent financial centers, London is the perfect city in which to study business. You’ll find coursework available in business, marketing, management and leadership, and economics at London South Bank University (LSBU), where you'll attend class alongside international and British students. And if you're interested in technology, you'll also find London fascinating. A growing number of tech companies are based in London, and the city was among the first to receive a geoTLD, in 2014.
London South Bank University features seven schools in a flexible, dynamic learning environment that supports students, develops academic programming, and engages with professional industries. Home to a diverse student body from more than 130 nations, LSBU’s centrally located campus offers a familiar on-campus experience for American students, all within an urban setting.
When you study abroad in London, you can choose CEA CAPA housing or arrange your own independent housing. CEA CAPA housing assignments are based on availability and confirmation date; we make every effort to match your housing requests, but we can’t guarantee housing preferences.
Program Structure
You’ll enroll in a total of 4 courses at LSBU, but please note that at least 2 courses have to be from the same school. The academic structure below lists a small sample of the hundreds of courses available. You will have access to introductory, intermediate and advanced courses in a variety of subject areas. Generally, courses are worth 4 credits in the U.S. semester system. Semester students may earn 16 credits (up to 240 contact hours).
The number of contact hours for each course varies and may be comprised of lectures, seminars, and tutorials. Due to differences in the British higher education system, there is no standard for the number of days a week a course may meet. Class meeting times vary across departments and subject areas.
Prior to departure you will select your preferred courses and enroll in them based on availability. LSBU course lists and schedules are not finalized until you’re in London. Final course registration takes place onsite. Please understand course availability is subject to change and courses are not guaranteed. It is in your best interest to get several course alternates approved by your home university prior to your departure date. This will give you flexibility during registration. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university on credit pre-approval guidelines.
Please be aware that the university final exam period runs past the CEA program dates. Therefore, it is your responsibility to arrange an alternate due date or assessment, if necessary, with your instructor. We recommend speaking about this with your instructor before the end of the add/drop period onsite.

Windsor
The official home of England’s royal family for 900 years, Windsor claims to be the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world. Tour the immense grounds, lavish staterooms, crowd-pleasing dollhouse, art gallery, and chapel. You’ll also visit the state apartments, from the intimate chambers of Charles II to the enormous Waterloo Chamber, built to commemorate the victory over Napoleon in 1815. All are exquisitely furnished with important works of art from the Royal Collection. After lunch, head across the bridge from the castle toward the college of Eton, the exclusive school that’s educated eighteen former British prime ministers and members of the royal family.

Continue on to Bath, famous for its hot springs and 2000-year-old Roman Baths. The tour includes a visit to the Baths, where you can walk in the footsteps of the Romans and even taste the spring waters. Later, join a guided walking tour of this World Heritage city to admire its Regency architecture, including the Royal Crescent.

You will receive a finalized itinerary once you arrive onsite.
