This module explores the genre of speech output in live radio broadcasting and teaches the various ingredients and
techniques needed to produce high quality broadcasts. The live broadcasts will incorporate elements of news and
magazine production. Specific skills developed include the use of running-orders, live interviewing, the production of
short features and wraps, two-ways, presentation and scripted links and continuity devices such as jingles, ‘beds’,
menus and ‘promos’.
