An examination of television forms, including the ‘quality’ drama series/serial, situation and sketch comedy, the
aesthetics of such forms and the nature of their address to their audiences. The module will address the UK and the
US industry contexts; networks, studios and channel branding; reflexivity in ‘cult’ TV and internet presence.
