To better meet the needs of your students, CEA has added new institutions accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in France and Chile and has made international business program updates in Barcelona and Prague:
International Business in Paris, France
In Paris, we’re adding ESSCA—École de Management, a new business school partner located on the riverbanks of the Seine close to the Pont de Saint-Cloud metro station with great facilities and the distinction of being accredited by AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. Students will enroll in a hybrid program model and take courses at both the CEA Paris Center and ESSCA. We’re excited to have ESSCA as a new partner! Explore the many options available.
International Business in Viña del Mar, Chile
We added a new International Business partner in Chile: Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI), a business school with triple accreditation (including EQUIS and AACSB) located in Viña del Mar. Students will take courses with other international students; UAI courses will be taught in English at the 200 & 300 level. Students will take a Spanish language course along with courses in business and Latin American & Chilean studies. View all courses offered.
International Business & Entrepreneurship in Barcelona
To make programs more accessible to students, CEA is combining 2 semester business programs into one. International Business (CEA/UAB hybrid) and Business & European Studies (CEA/UPF hybrid) are rolling up under the International Business program name. Because Barcelona is also an ideal location for budding entrepreneurs to study and is ranked 5 out of 60 European start-up hubs by the Mobile World Capital Barcelona, we are offering a summer program at the CEA Barcelona Center that is focused on Entrepreneurship with the option for students to add an internship placement with an entrepreneurship focus. Consult this course listing for entrepreneurship options.
International Business in Prague, Czech Republic
This program is designed for students who want to focus their studies on business in a global context at Anglo-American University. Student can choose electives from Anglo-American University’s robust course list, with close to 100 courses taught in English to choose from. While AAU is particularly strong in Marketing and Management, it also offers courses in Finance, Accounting, and Economics. Preview all available courses.
We hope knowing about these exciting changes will help you advise on business programs that are ideal for your students. If you have any questions, please contact your University Regional Director and visit the CEA website program pages.
Deadlines for CEA Summer Internship programs are coming soon, and we have staff standing by to assist students as they work to submit the documents required for the internship application. Please let students know that CEA will work with them on their résumé and cover letter. While they should submit these as soon as possible, it is fine to consider them drafts for now. As we know these two items can overwhelm students and bog down the application process, encourage students to go ahead and submit what they have now. The sooner they submit these documents, the sooner we can work with them to find that ideal placement.
Summer 2018 internship applications: March 1
London Summer 2018 study + internship applications: February 15
