Job Description

Interns will work to develop computational methods for solving problems that occur in a variety of areas within the organization. Some duties can include but are not limited to:

  • Applying mathematical methods in real-world industry-specific contexts
  • Using data to plan effectively to reach business goals
  • Maintaining bookkeeping, updating account systems, analyzing, and reporting of data

Competency & Skill Development

CEA CAPA Internships Abroad aligns each internship and the seminar course to the skills essential for graduates to be considered career ready by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).

Below is an example of some of the competency and skill development a CEA CAPA Internship Abroad has included in past placements. Each internship will focus on the unique goals of the intern and industry which will be identified throughout the interview and coaching process.

  1. Create and analyze surveys given to focus groups.
  2. Conduct market research through sectorial finance databases to help develop marketing strategies.
  3. Develop budgeting and account strategies for events and assist in programming of online accounting systems.
