A native of New York City, Kevin has been residing in and in love with Seville for over 15 years. Having completed a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Management from ESIC Sevilla and holding positions in Consulting and Sales at several Spanish and International firms in Seville, Kevin is a seasoned professional well-prepared to support CEA students in and out of the classroom. He first joined CEA as faculty for courses in Entrepreneurship and the Internship Seminar, and has since transitioned to take over Seville's International Internship coordination. In this role, Kevin serves students with unique, hands-on, international experience, overseeing the placement process and cultivating host companies in diverse fields, as well as a strong commitment to our student's professional development. Cross-Cultural Perspectives on Disease, Wellness & Healthcare
Sevillian from birth, Ana learned to nurture an affinity with the English language from a young age as her family hosted American exchange students. But it was when she lived and worked for 5 years in the UK, that she truly fell in love with the language. After completing her MS in Pharmaceutical Science, she went on to complete a Master's Degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Seville. After that she first held positions as a pharmacist dealing with patients in Spain and the National Health Service in the UK. She then combined her role as a Business and Marketing Consultant and Trainer for Healthcare Staff for pharmacies within the Pharmaceutical Industry. These experiences allow her to be a skilled professor for CEA students. Ana spends her spare time pursuing her passions of learning, technology, English and supporting others. She collaborates with a number of local groups such as an Entrepreneurship association providing knowledge as a coach for Startup Weekends Edition’and a local NGO, Pharmacists Without Borders.
Beginning Spanish I & Intermediate Spanish I
Born and raised in Seville, Elena has been teaching languages for over twenty years for organizations such as CEA and the University of Seville. She is passionate for languages and speaks Spanish, English, French and German, and has also studied Italian and Latin formally. Elena has a Master’s in English Language and Literature from the University of Seville, with a second degree in German Language. She enjoys being involved in seminars and conferences about language teaching and the use of new technologies in class and has taken several training courses and seminars on online teaching. Presently, she is involved in a MOOC on Spanish Online Methodology. Elena has worked in both the education and tourism sectors, both of which have always kept her in contact with other cultures and languages and given her the opportunity of travelling widely. She has an extremely proactive approach to teaching, keeping her students engaged by incorporating in-class and out-of-class activities, culture differences projects, and music.
