Why did you choose to study/intern abroad?
I have been traveling around the world with my parents since I was two months old. My mum is from England and we always travel around Europe. However, I have never gotten the opportunity to live there myself for a long period of time and I finally am able to do so. My Mum has always said to me growing up "Have the time of your life" and I definitely will on my adventures studying abroad. I wanted to take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in another country and expand my cultural and professional understandings outside of the United States.

Why did you choose your study/intern city?
I have been saving my trip to Spain until I could study abroad and I have already been to many major/large cities in Europe. Therefore, I really wanted to immerse myself in a smaller city, experiencing the culture on a much more intimate level. I'm really excited to pick up the Spanish language again after taking it in high school by talking with locals. I'm even more excited to capture the beautiful city of Seville through my camera lens, continuing my studies and passion for photography.

What are you most looking forward to during your abroad experience?
I'm really looking forward to exploring the hidden gems of Spain starting with Seville. And of course I'm really excited to make new friends from across the globe, continue my education in a different environment and culture and hopefully return back to the States being able to speak fluent Spanish.

Fun Fact (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
I've been dancing for over 15 years and continue to at UMass Amherst with Stage Crew Dance Company. A fun fact about me is that I danced at the Orange Bowl in Miami at the halftime show with the country band Little Big Town. My other hobbies include photography, traveling, and I used to play the cello.
