Why did you choose to study/intern abroad?
I chose to intern abroad because I want to challenge myself to collaborate and learn from different cultures. One day I want to work within the business world on an international level. I knew taking on an international internship this summer would be a fantastic opportunity to prepare myself to work in business at the international level.
Why did you choose your study/intern city?
I chose to intern in Dublin because I have always been fascinated by Dublin’s history. In addition, it has been my dream to visit Dublin. Although my internship this summer is virtual, my goal is to travel there to see the people I have met in the CEA program and worked for after completing my internship.
What are you most looking forward to during your abroad experience?
I am looking forward to improving the workforce’s essential skills, leaving the internship experience with a broader perspective of working internationally and creating long-lasting relationships. I want to apply what I have learned from this unique experience when I go back to school, wherever I’m employed, and beyond.
Fun Fact (hobbies, interests, accomplishment, etc.)?
I have always had an enormous love for watching and playing sports. In particular, my favorite sports to watch are football, baseball, basketball, and golf. I am a very passionate St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears, and Iowa Hawkeyes fan. I also love to play any sport that’s out there.
