Based in our Phoenix office, Peyton oversees the CEA marketing department creating strategy behind partner and student engagement through digital and print channels. Peyton combines her passion for customer-centric marketing with her love for travel and continuing education to share compelling stories that inspire.
With 10 years of experience in the creative, digital, & sales space, Peyton specializes in digital & print strategy, campaign management, visual storytelling, and lead and revenue-generation for omnichannel marketing. Before joining CEA, Peyton led the fashion marketing team for an industry leader in the scholastic space, where she drove initiatives to elevate the student experience and grow partnerships with schools and universities around the globe.
Outside of work, Peyton enjoys filling her world map with pins, solo travel, snuggling with her maltipoo Milo, being on the water, and attempting to keep her houseplants alive.
Peyton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she was a D1 cheerleader for four years.
As the Marketing Automation & Engagement Specialist, Alexis is responsible for strategy and content for all student outreach communications and manages CEA’s Mobile Journalist (MOJO) program that curates digital content from students abroad. In addition, Alexis works closely with the University Relations team and the Enrollment Team to enhance our student voice across our student communications.
Alexis joined CEA in the summer of 2018 as a copywriter before officially transitioning to the Marketing Communications Coordinator role at the start of 2019. She is a graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, where she earned her BA in Broadcast Journalism with an emphasis on digital strategy and strategic communication. While studying at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, Alexis completed an extensive professional reporting program through Cronkite News, where she gained skills in digital production and social media, producing, and reporting. Before joining CEA, Alexis worked for Times Media Group and reported on business, local culture, and created digital content strategy for The College Times Magazine.
While Alexis never studied abroad, she is the daughter of an immigrant who came to the United States as an exchange student from Greece. This background has inspired Alexis to help students achieve their dream of studying abroad and becoming global citizens. In her free time, you can find her hiking with her Goldendoodle Myla, doing arts & crafts, cheering for the Arizona State Sun Devils, or trying new restaurants around the Phoenix area with her boyfriend.
Tricia was born and raised in Phoenix and previously worked with CEA from 2019–2021 as our University Relations Events Coordinator. For the past year, she has been living and working in Madrid, Spain as an English Language Coordinator but is excited to be moving back stateside to be closer to family and friends as well as rejoining the CEA team.
In her free time, Tricia enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with family.
As the Social Media Coordinator, Courtney is responsible for planning and executing social content across a multitude of platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Courtney works closely with Alumni Ambassadors and Mobile Journalists to collect student content and increase student engagement. She also works closely with the University Relations Team to enhance university relationships from a social media lens.
Courtney is a graduate of the University of Minnesota- Duluth and holds a BBA degree in Marketing. During her undergraduate experience, Courtney studied abroad for a semester at the University of Stirling, Scotland. While studying abroad, Courtney took the opportunity to travel throughout the United Kingdom and Europe, where she explored destinations including St. Andrews, Edinburgh, London, Barcelona, Madrid, Athens, Amsterdam, Venice, Stockholm, Dublin, and more. Courtney’s experience abroad was incredibly transformative and developed her purpose for helping other individuals experience life-changing opportunities through international education.
As Copywriter + Content Coordinator, Taylor is responsible for supporting the communications team within the Marketing department by writing targeted messaging and crafting compelling stories for our B2B2C audiences. This process includes delivering high-quality, creative messaging content for print and digital projects including emails, SMS messages, digital ads, and website content that is both academic and student facing.
Taylor is a proud CEA alum who studied and interned abroad in Barcelona in 2017 for a cycling startup, Vadecity – VadeBikeBCN. She joined CEA professionally in Fall '21 as a Site Specialist before transitioning to Copywriter + Content Coordinator in Summer '22. Before moving from Milwaukee to Phoenix in May '21, she earned her bachelor's degree in communication and journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Clearly Spanish vino was still on her mind after studying abroad, because during college she started working as a wine concierge and marketing assistant for another startup in the states, Bright Cellars. Prior to graduating college, she crossed a collection of countries off her bucket-list – Spain, The Netherlands, France, The Czech Republic, Germany, Mexico, and even Morocco to name a few.
Taylor believes that traveling is the best way to gain perspective and that “when you arrive in a place, you become part of that place.” After college she continued learning and sharing stories about new places in the world along with the new person it shaped her into while she worked for a travel technology company as a travel editor for digital and print publications, The Compass on VAX VacationAccess. She continues freelance writing for a wine blog, Champagne Taste.
Outside of work you can find her hiking, biking, baking, or hanging out with friends and her chihuahua named Mario. She also loves reading a good memoir and listening to live music!
Heather Gregg Reed
Heather Gregg Reed (she/her) grew up in the mountains of North Carolina and currently lives near Asheville, NC. She’s spent more than a decade in the international education field, most recently as Director of Alumni Outreach at IFSA. Heather has a particular passion for Digital Storytelling and has leveraged the medium to help students, educators, and everyday people build community and connection. She’s delighted to be joining the marketing team at CEA and is ready to dive into collaborating on all things alumni.
Heather is a serial hobbyist and, over the past year, has renovated a 100-year-old house, assistant directed an award-winning short film, and visited a dozen U.S. National Parks.
As the Marketing Project Manager, Alexis supports CEA’s departments by overseeing marketing product launches from start to finish. This process includes determining the scope of a project, managing communication, setting timelines with stakeholders, and overseeing the completion and implementation of projects and initiatives. Using her background in graphic design, she also provides art and creative direction ensuring the project’s alignment to CEA’s goals, vision, and branding.
Alexis started with CEA in 2014 as a Graphic Designer and transitioned to the Marketing Project Manager role in 2019. Alexis received her BFA in Art with an emphasis in Design from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. A travel enthusiast, she has visited over 20 countries and spent part of her childhood living abroad in the Philippines and Japan.
Outside of work, Alexis is a big Arizona Cardinals fan, enjoys traveling all over the globe, dabbles in arts and crafts, and takes long walks with her dogs Cooper and Oliver. Her goal is to visit Antarctica—the one continent she has never set foot on.
