WHAT'S ONE STORY OR IMPORTANT ASPECT YOU ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR TIME ABROAD?

Studying abroad taught me patience and appreciation for little things. Whether it was flooded tube lines or canceled trains, London taught me that everything does not have to be perfect. Little wins like having enough time to grab a coffee before class was truly the best part. I think there is this expectation that studying abroad is very glamorous, but it can also be mundane. That gray area is what is so beautiful and often not talked about.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS WHILE ABROAD, AND WHY?

My favorite class while studying abroad was London Museums. Essentially, we visited various museums all around London and learned about perspective, curation, and meaning. This class taught me how to look at art in a holistic view rather than a 2-D version. My professor always encouraged us to create a story without looking at the caption that accompanied a piece. I loved the creative freedom London Museums taught me.
