VIDEO: Public Transportation in Grenoble, France

One of my favorite parts about Grenoble is the public transportation. At first, I was intimidated by various tram lines, but I quickly got used to using them for my daily routes. Everyone in the city uses the trams and they are a common part of daily life here. Of course, the city is small enough to where you could practically walk everywhere as well. The smallness of the city comes in handy when the trams are running slow or a protest / event is blocking a tram’s route. Thankfully, you can easily find wait times and which trams are running through the MetroMobilité app or the signs at each tram stop. Personally, I love being able to sit on the tram and read a book or listen to music on my way to class. It’s a great way to relax and enjoy your commute!
