
Spend the summer making progress toward your STEM degree on the stunning French Riviera. The seaside town of Antibes serves as both a backdrop and an extension of the classroom as you engage with French culture or language while completing a math course designed to help you stay on track with engineering and other technical majors. No prior French language experience is required, but you'll have the opportunity to build basic language skills as you experience daily life in this historic coastal city.

Choose a 1-, 2-, or 3-course option. Students in the 1-course option enroll in 1 CEA CAPA engineering course. Students in the 2-course option enroll in 1 CEA CAPA engineering course and 1 CEA CAPA elective course from either Session I or Session II. Students in the 3-course option enroll in 1 CEA CAPA engineering courses and 2 CEA CAPA elective courses from Session I and Session II.
Engineering courses meet 60 contact hours/4 credits and elective courses meet for 45 contact hours/3 credits. If you choose the 1-course option, you may earn 4 credits (up to 60 contact hours); if you choose the 2-course option, you may earn 7 credits (up to 105 contact hours); if you choose the 3-course option, you may earn 10 credits (up to 150 contact hours).
Attendance will be required 4-5 days per week, and you will be expected to prioritize your courses over any personal travel
Prior to departure, you will select your preferred courses. You will be enrolled into courses based on their availability. It is in your best interest to have multiple alternative courses approved by your home university prior to your departure due to course availabilities. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university on credit pre-approval guidelines.

Get out and explore! Excursions are offered for most semester, year, and summer programs. Semester students are typically offered between two to three excursions and summer study students are typically offered between one to two excursions. You'll receive a calendar of excursions during orientation; here are a few day and overnight excursions we've offered in the past.
