Local Highlights

Restaurante Botín

Restaurante Botín is the world oldest restaurant, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. This iconic Madrid eatery opened its doors to the public for the first time in 1725.


La Bicileta Café

This welcoming café is the perfect spot to study and work. Amenities like free WiFi, workspaces, lockers for your belongings, and a variety of drinks and food (coffee, milkshakes, soda, beer etc.) make it your go-to study spot.


Círculo de Bellas Artes

Want to see the Madrid skyline from its best angle? Then head to the Círculo de Bellas Artes in the center of the city. Along with its amazing views, there’s a cafeteria/restaurant where you can have a drink and some snacks while enjoying the scenery. Círculo de Bellas Artes offers jazz concerns, art exhibitions, and a film series throughout the year.


Cercedilla

If you’re a hiking person, you won’t want to miss Madrid’s mountains and trails. Cercedilla is one of the best options; you can get there for free by train, in no more than an hour!


San Ginés

Don’t miss this well-known spot, famous for its chocolate con churros Madrileño. San Ginés is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
