Spring 16

About the City

Viña del Mar

This relaxed, friendly city offers the best of both worlds: Easy access to Chile's natural wonders and urban amenities, all in a city that's home to so many parks that it’s nicknamed the garden city. Immerse in Spanish language and Chilean culture through courses at the University of Viña del Mar, known for its focus on international students and its pioneering environmental engineering program. Gain hands-on experience through CEA's volunteering and service learning opportunities and turn the city into your classroom through a range of cultural activities, like visits to Casablanca’s wineries, poet Pablo Neruda's home on Isla Negra, and excursions to the nearby capital, Santiago.

About the Country

Chile

From the towering Andes in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west, Chile’s dramatic landscapes run the gamut, lush vineyards and arid deserts, sunny beaches and green forests. In this long, narrow country — stretching more than 2,670 miles from top to bottom but only 217 miles across — you’ll experience some of Latin America's most diverse ecosystems while engaging with Chile’s rich cultural heritage. Share a cup of tea while practicing your Spanish skills with locals, tour Chile’s legendary vineyards, take a hike on a glacier, and attend class with Chilean students for a truly integrated experience.

Completely Convenient
The ease of the program and knowledge of the entire organization is top notch. The experience they provided for me was incredible. …CEA makes living in a foreign country completely convenient.

Picture Yourself Here.

If you could go anywhere, where would you choose?

Can't decide? Don't worry. We still love you. Check as many as you like. Still not sure? That's OK. We would totally have a hard time too. Just check 'I don't know yet'.
